Using this app generates a connection attempt from a finnish server.

I launched this app while using the Network Monitor “Little Snitch” and took care to forbid it ALL access to the Internet.
Even though, Little Snitch caught it immediately receiving an incoming connection from the IP address 80.71.193.60 which is a Finnish server.

This weirdly intrusive behaviour is highly suspicious and is of course not documented anywhere.

Knowing this I cannot possibly recommend the app for anyone unless they are fine with their machine being surreptisiously accessed from the outside.
It does not matter whether the app does its other jobs correctly as long as it maintains this deceiving practice.
